Food Security and Land Use Change (Food 2013)

This Collaborative Research Action (CRA) was designed to increase understanding of the dynamic spatial scale interactions between food security and land use. The focus was on the following topics:
  • Land use change impacts on food systems.
  • Food systems dynamics as a driver of land use changes.
  • Feedback loop interactions between land use change and food security dynamics.
This CRA was launched in 2012 and ended in 2018. It was supported by:

CSIRO, FAPESP, RPF, ANR, MoES, Teagasc, MOARD, JST, WUR, UEFISCDI, NRF, SNSF, BBSRC/ESRC/NERC, and NSF
