Arctic Observing and Research for Sustainability (Arctic I 2014)

This Collaborative Research Action (CRA) had the purpose of developing projects that utilize existing arctic observing systems, datasets and models to evaluate key sustainability challenges and opportunities in the arctic region across one or more of four possible themes:  
  • The natural and living environment.
  • The built environment and infrastructures.
  • Natural resource management and development.
  • Governance.
  This CRA was launched in 2014 and ended in 2021. It was supported by:

NSERC, SSHRC, NSFC, CNRS, ANR, BMBF, RANNIS, MoES, CNR, JST, RCN, NordForsk, RFBR, BOEM, and NSF
