The Belmont Forum endorsed a Data Skills Curricula Framework to enhance information management skills for data-intensive science at its annual Plenary Meeting held in November. The Framework was developed by the Forum’s e-Infrastructures and Data Management (e-I&DM) Project to improve data literacy, security and sharing in data-intensive, transdisciplinary global change research.

São Paulo, Brazil, 8 November 2017: The Belmont Forum Executive Council agreed by consensus, at its meeting in São Paulo, Brazil, on 7 November 2017, to accept the bid submitted by the IAI Directorate to host its Secretariat in Montevideo, Uruguay.

Next week, Belmont Forum members, partners, and guests will head to São Paulo, Brazil for a week of meetings, hosted by FAPESP, at the science-policy-society interface!
